LODGING

The Lodging at Northstar is handled by the central lodging office.

ALL of the 2 and 3 bedroom condos are located in Aspen Grove, Gold Bend, and Indian Hills. The resort will NOT guarantee which unit or location you will be assigned until you arrive.

The ONLY room locations that are guaranteed are those in the Village, or the Aspen Grove Studios, or the Ski Trail one bedroom.

The room charge does not include 10% hotel tax, 1% housekeeping gratuity, or the $5 per day resort fee.

DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

In order to guarantee your reservation, an advanced deposit of $200 per bedroom is required at the time of booking. Personal checks or major credit cards are accepted. The balance for room charges is automatically charged 14 days prior to arrival. If you cancel there is a $50 fee. If you cancel or shorten your stay within 14 days of arrival all payments made to Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort are non-refundable. Taxes and fees are due upon checkout. At check-in, 15% of your lodging bill plus $75 per day is held on your credit card to cover taxes, fees, and incidentals. It also serves as a security deposit. The hold is released at checkout.

GETTING TO NORTHSTAR @ LAKE TAHOE

Non Stop Flights to RNO are available from ORD, DFW, DEN, LAX, SLC, PHX, ATL, MSP, and SAN.

The driving time from RNO is about 30 minutes.

The transportation from RNO is the North Lake Tahoe Express. The highest one way fare is $40. There is a significant price reduction if 2 or more people make a joint reservation and travel together. Check their website. http://www.northlaketahoeexpress.com/ or call

If you come a day early and stay in Reno, there is free transportation from some Reno hotels. Call for the FREE Shuttle from Reno Hotels to Northstar - 877.274.7366

If you wish to fly to SMF and drive to Northstar the driving time is one hour and 45 minutes and you must drive over Donner Summit on Interstate 80.

NORTHSTAR @ LAKE TAHOE TRANSPORTATION

Those staying in the Village will be able to walk virtually everywhere. Those staying in condos in the other areas will have FREE shuttle service provided as late at 2 AM each night.

The Wednesday night Theme Party will be “Circus – Circus”. Come as your favorite circus performer, act, clown, animal, or just use YOUR imagination. Teams, consider coming as an act or sub-theme within the circus. This should be FUN with tons of ideas to explore. So easy, even a MORON could get a costume for THIS party!

FREE ICE SKATING

Monday from 6:00PM till 8:00PM Northstar @ Lake Tahoe has offered FREE ice skating and rentals to all REGISTERED NAASF members/guests. Après Ski will be at the Cabana Bar (next to the Ice Rink) so plan to join us for a drink and FREE SKATING.

AWARDS PRESENTATIONS

In an attempt to keep the parties moving and not interrupt them with the sometimes arduous awards presentations, we will try something new at Northstar @ Lake Tahoe. The Cabana Bar is an outside Après Ski type of venue with large fire pits and heat lamps. Similar to the way IASF conducts their awards each afternoon, we will have the Tuesday and Wednesday “Awards” presented outside at the Cabana Bar. The Thursday race and Weekly combined awards will be presented at the Awards dinner Thursday evening as in the past.
