The NAASF Foundation concentrates its support grants on promising skiers at the JIII/IV level. Those skiers must demonstrate superior academics, dedicated competitive spirit, community citizenship and financial need. Awarded funds will be administered by your local Ski Educational Foundation. Approximately $2-3000 in awards will normally be divided between two recipients.  Applications for 2009/2010 are now being accepted.
2010 Applications will close on August 31, 2010. 
Interested competitors should be prepared to submit the following:

A sealed letter or official email from the school principal that addresses citizenship, work ethic, peer relationships and an official grade transcript for the most recent school year.
A sealed letter or official email from the coaching staff addressing commitment, potential, ability and desire.
An official printout that shows all competitions entered and results for the most recent season. If no computerized document exists in your region, your ski coach should submit the same information. (Please limit result input to two pages. The USSA results report is preferred)
A copy of IRS form 1040 or short form for the supporting family showing adjusted gross income. (Do not include other tax forms.)
A recent ski-racing photo is very helpful.
